Sharon A. Shebesta, age 55, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday October 19, 2025.
Sharon was born in Milwaukee on September 17, 1970, to Dwayne and Naomi (Albrecht) Nirschl. Following her graduation from high school, she attended LTC and earned an associate degree in accounting.
Sharon was currently employed at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers as a surgical scheduler.
On August 19, 1994, she was united in marriage to Scott Shebesta in Manitowoc.
In her free time, Sharon loved caring for her plants, loved to crochet and knit, enjoyed weekend getaways with Scott camping up north and spending quality time with her family and friends. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed going out on the pontoon boat on the Menominee River, she loved fishing in the summer and ice fishing in the winter as well going for snowmobile rides. She was simple but always kept busy and was an extremely devoted wife and mother.
She is survived by her loving husband, Scott, their children, Courtney Shebesta, Caitlin (Bryce) Richards; and her soon-to-be granddaughter, Aliyah Mae Richards; siblings, Paul Nirschl, Mark Nirschl, Karen Ellis, and Claire Yesenski. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dwayne and Naomi Nirschl and her in-laws, Donald and Kathryn Shebesta.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home, 344 S State Street in Mishicot, officiated by Father Dave Pleier.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
There will be no Friday evening visitation.
The Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home of Mishicot is assisting the family with arrangements.
