MISHICOT – Malcolm H. Peroutka, age 82, entered into eternal life on Monday, July 27, 2026 at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center in Green Bay. Malcolm was born on March 17, 1944 to the late Eugene and Caroline (Menges) Peroutka. He was a graduate of Mishicot High School and remained a lifelong area resident. Malcolm married Kay V. Hanes in 1966 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mishicot. Together, the couple owned and managed the family dairy farm for many years. Malcolm truly enjoyed his work – caring for his cows and spending countless hours fabricating in his shop. As a younger man, he looked forward to Friday evening bowling. He also enjoyed getting together with his classmates for breakfast on Wednesdays. Malcolm also enjoyed being around the racetrack, even working pit crew during his grandson’s races. He was known around town and frequented the bars more for the social aspect than the drinking aspect. He will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
Malcolm is survived by his children: Scott and Michelle Peroutka of Mishicot, Brian Peroutka of Mt. Pleasant Racine, Sara and Gerald Rader of Newton, Michael and Jennifer Peroutka of Two Rivers, Teresa and James Ohlrogge of Newton, as well as 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Alan and Barb Peroutka, Karen and Jim Perry, Corrine McGrath, and Dale Peroutka, as well as in-laws Vince Cicha, Renee Peroutka, Floyd Hanes, Russel Hanes and fiancée Sue, Judy Gretz, Linda and James Sand, Dale Gordon, and Gloria Duenkel. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kay, his parents, his grandson Kevin Peroutka, siblings: Donald Peroutka, Clyde and Donna Peroutka, Carol Cicha, and Tom Duenkel, mother and father-in-law Claude and Leona Hanes, and sister-in-law Claudia Gordon.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, August 3 at 1pm at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home in Mishicot with Crystal Wavrunek officiating. Prior to the service, the family will receive visitors from 9 AM – 1 PM at the funeral home. Burial and luncheon to follow the Funeral.
