Lawrence I. “Larry” Dworak, age 80, passed away at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay on April 16, 2026. Larry was born to the late John and Edna (Gauthier) Dworak on December 14, 1945.
On June 7, 1969, Larry was united in marriage to the former Cecile Duval at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Two Rivers. The couple was blessed with 56 years of marriage and 3 children.
Larry proudly served his country in the United States Army.
In his free time, he enjoyed being outdoors, feeding the birds, hunting, and just overall loved nature. He was an animal lover and had a soft spot for dogs. Larry was known to be a jokester and had the best sense of humor. He absolutely loved the Packers, however that amount of love did not come close to the love he had for his family, especially his grandkids. He enjoyed playing video games with his grandkids and spending quality time with them. Larry was always called the ‘supervisor’ of the home, he looked over everyone and everything. He never missed an opportunity to learn something new.
Larry will be missed by his loving wife, Cecile; their children, Janet (Bernie) Lumaye, Angela (Josh) Springstube, Paula (Ryan) Larson; grandchildren, Cerise, Justin, Amber, Cullen, Kaven, Katelyn, Trenten, Skylen, Chelsea; a soon-to-be great-granddaughter, Brielle; brothers-in-law, Walter (Karen) Duval, Larry (Gail) Duval; a step brother, Tommy Darren; sisters-in-law, Barbara Dworak, Patricia (Sam) Devico, Lisa (Buster) Kinnard, Jody Klein, and Dorothy (Larry) Meissner. Many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive.
In addition to his parents, John and Edna Dworak, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Dworak; sisters, Lavone (Pudgy) Bialek, Judy Dworak, Lida (Carl) Hansen; a brother-in-law, Paul Duval; sisters-in-law, Rochelle (Gene) Shekoski, Jeannie Duval; and his mother and father-in-law, Lawrence and Pearl Duval.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church, Tisch Mills at 11:30 a.m. The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Dennis Drury. Military honors will immediately follow in the church parking lot. Honors will be accorded by members of VFW post #7753. Larry will be privately laid to rest at Knollwood Mausoleum.
