Karen Meyer

Karen M. Meyer, 86, of Mishicot, passed away at home on the evening of Saturday, September 5, 2026. She was born on September 23, 1940 to parents Lester and Ruth (Lorenz) Reinke. She attended local schools and graduated from Mishicot High School with the class of 1958. On November 23, 1960, Karen married Clarence “Junior” Meyer at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mishicot. The pair were blessed with more than 65 years of marriage and together they raised three sons. From 1965 to 1973, Karen and Junior owned and operated The Crow Bar in Mishicot. Afterwards, Karen went to work for Paragon Electric until her retirement, at which point she spent some time working for Krauses grocery store.

Karen was a dedicated wife and mother. She especially enjoyed cooking and baking for her loved ones. She had a talent for crocheting – gifting most people in her life at least one hand-made Afghan. Karen also spent her time making puzzles, some of which still decorate her home, and in her younger years was an avid bowler. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.

She leaves behind her beloved husband: Clarence, as well as her three sons: Mike, Doug, and Jason Meyer. She is also survived by her grandsons: Jared and Ty Meyer, her great-granddaughter: Octavia, and her brother: Gary Reinke. Karen was preceded in death by her parents: Lester and Ruth Reinke, and her sister: Patsy Reinke

A memorial service will be held at 7 PM on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home in Mishicot. Prior to the service, the Meyer family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 PM.
