Jennifer M. "Jenny" Schefe

Jennifer M. “Jenny” Schefe, age 71, a Mishicot resident, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Sunday evening, July 27, 2025, at her residence.

Jenny was born in Two Rivers, on November 30, 1953, to Norbert and Marion (Jasmer) Stangel, Sr. She was a graduate of Kewaunee High School. On August 10, 1974, Jenny was united in marriage to Christ Schefe at St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church in Tisch Mills. The couple was blessed with 50 years of marriage and two children.

Jenny grew up in Two Creeks working on her family’s farm. She worked at Mirro from 1972-1979, then farmed from 1985-1994, then became a production leader at Natural Beauty Growers from 1994 until her retirement in 2015. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time and taking golf cart rides with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren at their family cabin in Crooked Lake. She loved doing her diamond art, and enjoyed watching the birds, especially the hummingbirds. Jenny loved to spend time with her family, and attending sporting events for her grandkids. She will be deeply missed.

Jenny is survived by her husband, Christ; their children, Sarah Schefe (special friend, Andy) of Mishicot, Craig (Louisa) Schefe of Kewaunee; grandchildren, Halie (Brandon) Kiel of Two Rivers, Bryer Schefe of Mishicot, Shelby Schefe of Kewaunee; great-grandchildren, Maverick and Grant Kiel of Two Rivers.

She was preceded in death by her parents Norbert and Marion Stangel, Sr., a brother, Norbert L. Stangel, grandparents, Louis and Barbara Stangel, and Pearl and Cecilia Jasmer.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th, 2025, at St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church, 18424 Tisch Mills Road, Denmark, WI, 54208. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Dennis Drury.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 8:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. There will be no Friday evening visitation.

Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home of Mishicot is assisting the Schefe family with arrangements.
