Earl O. Wagner, age 94, longtime town of Two Rivers resident, died early Friday morning, April 24, 2026 at Complete Care of Manitowoc.
Earl was born in Green Bay on February 6, 1932 to Ernest and Eva (Wallace) Wagner. He was united in marriage to Mary Lou Destree on June 20, 1953 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Kewaunee. The couple worked and played side by side for 64 wonderful years before Mary Lou preceded him in death on June 20, 2017. Earl worked for Mirro Aluminum Corp. for many years and in 1968 started his own RV business - Wagner Trailer Sales which he owned & operated until his retirement in 2000. He and his family enjoyed many years at their cabin in Amberg, Wisconsin and loved riding his ATV through the beautiful north woods. Earl was an avid hunter; he raised many different birds on his property over the years; and he enjoyed playing in Polka bands, namely with the Romy Gosz Orchestra. Above all, Earl loved to be around family. His greatest moments were spent sitting around with his family, just listening to the conversations!
He is survived by his three children: Ralph (Ginger) Wagner of Manitowoc, Nancy (Gene) Kopetsky of Appleton, and Leonard (Julie) Wagner of Suamico; his grandchildren include: Jeff (Stacey) Wagner, Steven (Ann) Wagner, April (Ray) Jatczak, Aaron (Marianna) Abely, Krista (Bob) Olson, Brandon (Katie) Kopetsky, Nathalia (Mike) Yeh, Tania (Brad) Willems, Amanda (Mike) Bishop, and Earl Wagner; along with nineteen great-grandchildren. He is further survived by a sister-in-law, Cheryl (Ervin) Sinkula of Two Creeks; special friends, Gary and Ruthann Kobes of Mishicot; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Eva Wagner; two brothers: Ernie (Bonnie) Wagner, Robert (Chris) Wagner; and his father-in-law & mother-in-law, Jule and Ida Destree.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Dave Pleier, with entombment in Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Hwy. 310, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church Wednesday morning from 9:00 until 10:45 a.m. There will be no Tuesday evening visitation.
