Donald W. Ray

Donald W. Ray, age 78, resident of the Town of Mishicot, died on Monday, April 28, 2025 at the Jack & Engrid Meng Hospice in DePere, WI.

Don was born December 1, 1946 in Manitowoc County to William and Frances (Hronek) Ray and has been a lifelong area resident. He married the former Lorene (Linda) Marrs on December 16, 1977 in Michigan. He was employed by Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry in the pattern shop for many years, and also worked for the Nuclear Plant for several years. Don was a member of the Larrabee Sportsman's Club and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; one daughter, Tammy (Chris) Klinek of Colorado; one son, Steven (Josie) Ray of Washington; five grandchildren; two brothers: Kenneth (Judy) Ray, Thomas (Janelle) Ray, all of Mishicot; one sister-in-law, Evelyn Means of California; nieces and nephews including two special nephews, Paul and Brian Ray. He is further survived by three step-children: Cheryl (Jeff) Jones, Jerry (Ann) Ferdon, and Jeff (Tina) Ferdon.

Private family services will be held at a later date, with burial in the Mishicot Public Cemetery.

Memorials in Don's name may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the Lakeshore Humane Society.
