Obituary

Bruce Robert Grossheim, age 74, was sent to his eternal home on December 16, 2025. He passed away peacefully at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers WI overlooking Lake Michigan, where he loved to spend time out on “the Lake”.

Bruce was born on May 19, 1951, and grew up in Cascade, WI. Confirmed St Paul’s Lutheran Church, he graduated from Plymouth High School in 1969. Bruce went on to serve in the Army from 1970-1974 and was stationed in Germany, eventually spending his final year in the Reserves. In 1975 he moved to Mishicot and married Dorothy Gries and had two Children, Rob and Teri. He loved his children and grandchildren and was proud of being their grandpa.

He loved the outdoors, and even more, using his humor and wit to tell stories of his experiences. He was a member of many local Conservations groups and was well known for over 4 decades giving the “fishing report” at WCUB Radio in Manitowoc. Bruce was the President of the Mishicot Racing Team and Car Club for more than 15 years and served as a volunteer ambulance driver for a decade.

Bruce is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Rob and Sara (Matthias) Grossheim; grandchildren, Brooke, Bryce, Bennett, Beth, and Belle Grossheim; daughter Teri Grossheim; sisters and brothers-in-law Debbie and Andy Karr, Jennifer and Roger Kvaale, June and Dennis Walosz, and Susie and Mike DeGroff.

He is preceded in death by his Parents Robert and Joyce (Luedtke) Grossheim.

You are invited to a funeral service to celebrate Bruce’s life which will be held Saturday January 3rd, 2026, at Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home, 344 S State Street Mishicot, WI. Visitation will be from 9am to 11am, with a short prayer service to follow.
